HSBC Wee Wonders Open Championship
This is a national event that
gives boys and girls aged 5-12 a way to progress from coaching
programmes into competitive golf. Each Junior starts at the
1st hole with 36 shots and a Flag. They then try and get
through as many holes as possible and place their flag where
their 36th shot finishes.
 The qualifying round was held at Goal Farm Golf Club in Purbright on
1st
June. Horne Park was represented by members of the Francis
family - Ben, Gemma and Charlie and Josh Hampson.
They all played extremely well and with Gemma making it through to the Regional Final at Burgess Hill Golf Club on Saturday 1st July.
Unfortunately Gemma didn't make it through to the Grand National
final but we are all extremely proud of her success particularly as
it was her first Regional competition.
